About This Module

The Marketing Impact CIM Level 4 Certificate module focuses on the role of  marketing in organisations and the key concepts underpinning the activities of marketing and marketers for digital and offline activities.

The module explores the marketing environment, customer behaviour – online and offline – along with market research and the marketing planning process.

Covering the 7P marketing mix and tactical marketing planning frameworks, including digital marketing, to aid effectiveness of marketing activities.

Marketing impact is a mandatory module within the CIM Certificate in Professional and Digital Marketing.

This 20 credit module comprises five learning outcomes:

  1. Understand the purpose and contribution of marketing to the organisation
  2. Understand the factors and trends in the marketing environment and how they impact on marketing decision making
  3. Recognise what influences buyer behaviour in various contexts
  4. Understand how to develop and effective marketing plan
  5. Understand how to effectively manage the implementation of and control the marketing plan

Assessment: Online Multiple Choice Test

The assessment for Marketing Impact is a 75 question, 120 minute onscreen multiple choice test
